A few things about myself. My name is Debbie and I am a 23 year old gal from Pennsylvania. I am dating a wonderful man, Matt, and we're going on two years this December 1st. We work together in our local hospital, him a med tech and I your average admissions clerk, on the overnight shift. We recently moved in together, recently as in two months ago. My posts contain text only entries that talk about my day, future plans, current thoughts, and old memories. I do make picture posts on occasion, when I feel the need.
If there is anything else you would like to know - feel free to ask.
You don't have any graphics displayed on your info, and you aren't in any communities that I'm in.. so I'm wondering why you are requesting to join my community?
I was trying to say that if there is something we can do to prevent this sort of thing from happening I'd be willing to take action. It is disgusting that people out there do this sort of thing to inoccent animals. The first time that I saw this I was appauled. I looked further into it and apparently it really is true. The fact that there are people like that out there is very disheartening. It truly makes me angry.
I can understand and respect your stance on this. It's a terrible thing. It makes me want to do more than just sit here and be angry and disgusted. I wish I knew where to begin.

I'm kinda annoyed that the post was deleted. Obviously I was out-numbered. The first response people have to those type of things, like I said, are "I don't wanna know". It's sad, really. I know how many people that little entry would have pissed off, and that's the point! Just like knowledge, anger is pretty powerful too. Most people find motivation through anger. For example, I have a friend who has a little brother with down-syndrom. Because of his poor education, and the lack of teachers who actually have the patience and "want" to educate people like his little brother, my friend has worked his ass off to become a speacial ed teacher. In my situation, my mother is handicapped, and if the doctors and nurses took a little more time with her, and tried a bit harder than they did, they might have prevented that when she was ill. My anger, because of that, has pushed me towards a career in medical health. Things like this seem so logical to me (my whole theory on knowledge and anger), but apparently, some people dont look at it that way! =(
