i'm not a professional photographer but i really like taking pictures. i have a few standard (quite cheap) digital cameras,the kind you use for holiday picks and suff like that. i would really like to get a much better camera because the ones i have aren't very good. i am prepared to spend from around 200 euros or  £ to 300ish. can anyone suggest a good digital camera i can get for this sort of price? what should i be looking out for exactly in a camera? thanks

I just found this community and I am SO excited. I'm quite paranoid about expired foods, so it's good to have something to refer to.

So, my question:

I made a Funfetti cake (Pillsbury box mix) and used vanilla whipped cream icing (from the can). I covered the top part of the cake in marshmallow fondant. This was all done on July 12th.

No one has cut into it yet. It's on a cake plate--the kind where you set the cake on a plate, then put the plate on a platform that has a lid. But, the plate I used was a little too big, so there was a small gap. I solved this problem by draping cling wrap all around it because I knew no one would be eating it for a few days.

Oh! And I didn't use eggs or oil in the mix. Just Sprite Zero (yes, it works!). So..safe to eat? Will it be stale? Thanks!

Anybody got a hot tip on a veterinarian? My kitty isn't sick, just needs a check-up and vaccinations, and since she is, as far as I can tell, in terrific health, price is really my priority, but I would obviously prefer it to be a decent vet who happens to be relatively cheap as a bonus (esp because she's getting elderly, and though now she seems to be just peachy, I imagine in the next few years I'll be spending a lot more time and money at vets than I do now). Preferably in Bushwick or Williamsburg. I've gotten a few ideas off yelp, but if anyone has a personal fav that would be awesome.

Hi. I don't post much around LJ, but i've always been around... I wrote on my LJ that i began a MONSTER'S BALL fanfic about 2 and a half years ago, before Heath's sudden death... i never stopped writing it, i was just afraid to post it on account of the subject matter in the movie and my fic... but i want to share my fic with other fans who may enjoy it... its been a long time coming since i started this fic.... it's gone through a lot... i'm writing the 18th chapter now...

in summary, the story takes place before the events in the movie, and is my explanation as to (Heath's character) Sonny's actions in the movie.

Hello again, ladies and everybody...

I'm not on HBC, nor do I want to be, and I don't want to start taking antidepressants again, either. However, I really think I need some sort of extra help with PMS. When I got my period this cycle, the effects were just abysmal: crying, anger, mood swings, deep depression, etc. I have a feeling I was adversely affected in this regard by taking Plan B recently--I've been tracking my periods for about a year and a half, and I can't recall a cycle since then when my PMS symptoms have been quite this bad. Despite the added hormone woes, I do have a tendency towards pretty extreme pre-menstrual emotional (and physical--backaches and cramps like whoa) problems. I don't know how extreme they have to be to qualify as PMDD, but I would really like to not feel like an absolute madwoman every month. Any suggestions?

I've heard vitamin B supplements can help, but does one take them just around period time or every day?

I bought 2 large French bread loaves yesterday, and I'd really like to make some sort of spread for them. I've never made an herb butter, but here are some add-ins to unsalted butter I've collected from respected chefs:

This little bunny has had a difficult beginning in life; his first 40 years or so were spent in the unfortunate position of a pair of stockings. What happened to him before he found his way to the vintage store is a mystery; but as soon as I saw him, I knew that he needed to be freed from his previous functional use; to find a form more pleasing to the new life that he deserved.

Made from primarily recycled materials, save for the new thread and stuffing, this little bunny would make an adorable addition to any animal collection. His eyes are sewn securely and should not, to the best of my ability, prove to be a chocking hazard. I have trusted toys of this type to everyone from newborn infants to adults, and have had no complaints. :)

This gray fabric is reminiscent of the velveteen rabbit, without, of course, the velvet. ;) Though the flop bunny had a difficult start, he doesn't want to be judged by his past. He is desperately searching for someone full of love and compassion, possibly even someone who appreciates his recycled skin, and understands that his fluffy center is as soft and cuddly as any NEW bunny.

Is it possible for men to get dry skin on their penis without having any kinds of infections, yeast or otherwise?

Complicated backstory: I thought I had a yeast infection for like 4 months. NOTHING was working but the pain during sex (with condoms b/c of the yeast) was just so bad and I was sure something was really wrong. So I go to the Dr finally and she tells me that it looks like BV instead. Great. So I went on antibiotic and it was cured and everything was fine. Sex got more easy, we started having condom-less sex because the infection was gone. However, the pain started coming back plus funky discharge about two weeks ago and, this morning, I noticed a patch of dry skin on his penis. Oh no! So I thought, shit, we're passing this back and forth. I know this is a very common sign of a yeast infection in a man... but then I thought, if I didn't have a yeast infection in the first place, how can that be it? Can men pick up a penile version of BV? He told me that he's noticed dry patches before and has for years (although I've never seen it and we've been sexually active for 3 years).

My first reaction is to just douse him in Monistat and/or yorgurt for a couple of days just in case... but is this something that can happen to men when being perfectly healthy? From jerking-off friction or something?

 So, I went to the Dollar Tree today and got about 12 shirts for a dollar each. Some are big, some are small, they're all different colors, so I couldn't wait to get started on slicing and dicing them! Here's one lovely 3XL shirt I started out with.
